Lynn, I'm passing you the Inspirational Blog Award which came my way this morning. As with all these things, don't feel you have to do it, but if you'd like to 'play' you can find out how via my blog today. (I changed the rules a bit...)
This is wonderful, the juxtaposition of that text with the photograph is rich in suggestions of secret, untold stories. Beautiful. I love it when art opens the gate and invites you to come in.
Thank you, Austin. With these collages, I've been attempting just that: to give the suggestion of stories. And of course, they will be different with every person and with each telling. Something with a life of its own once it's out of my hands.
Lovely collage and the words accompanying it. It brings to mind a new word I learned on Tumblr.... of all places. Nemophilist - a haunter of the woods; one who loves the forest and it's beauty and solitude.
And very nice it is too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kate!
